Cards & Buttons

I spoiled the boys a bit yesterday morning by letting them sleep in and baking blueberry muffins for breakfast. Then they went to the gym to workout while I waited for the phone to ring with updates on Mom. I won't go into detail, but she's still quite sick and getting much needed care. Since I tend to be a nervous person, I busied myself with thank you cards I needed to make to pass the time.

Supplies: Die Cuts with a View card; Chatterbox patterned paper; Fiskars threading water punch; Staz-On black stamp pad; Heidi Swapp thank you stamp.

In the afternoon, we went out for a bit to catch a movie. Christopher suggested The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I was intrigued by the online synopsis as the storyline is so original from anything else I've seen. All three of us agreed it was a very good movie.

  1. Sending thoughts your way...the card is so cute!

  2. I really need to learn to stamps...

Hope your mom feels better today.

Glad you liked the movie... Though when I first saw the intro to it, I thought "of COURSE he grows up to be BRAD PITT, not some ugly guy!" lol

  3. Cute card, I hope your mom feels better soon.

  4. Love the card.I'd like to see that movie, too. Hoping your mom gets past this very soon!

  5. Bluberry Muffins? Your brother will NEVER leave now! Hope your Mom is feeling better. Your card is very pretty.

Thanks for leaving a comment! I enjoy reading them all. :)
