Ceramics Painting

6 mommies + 6 babies in one ceramics shop = a whole lot of fun creating one of a kind Father's Day gifts.

This was such a fun playgroup adventure and I think I had almost as much fun scrapping the memory.  I made my own template while working out the photo arrangement (hint: watch for a freebie later in the month).  My goal was to keep the photos the focus of the design.  After the photos & journaling were placed, it felt a little bare.  I finally came up with the perfect embellishment using a scan of Dylan's handprint from thank you notes he and I made in April.  I recolored the handprint in a shade of orange to match the layout.

Supplies: 2paws Designs Rounded Corners 12x12 template; Deena Rutter's Hotel California kit; Another Typewriter font.

  1. What a fun activity! And you are some brave Mom's, lol. Great idea on the handprint scan too!

  2. What nice keepsakes of adventures with Dylan & friends. Both scrapbook pages are lovely.

  3. What a wonderful page! I just love that you included that handprint!

  4. This is so neat! How wonderful you are making these memories! Dylan is such a doll and you look fab girl! I love the rounded corners and the layout!

Thanks for leaving a comment! I enjoy reading them all. :)
