Oranges and Bananas

It's always interesting to see where blog hits come from. Lately, with Valentine's approaching, my Valentine's Candy Jar post is getting a bit of attention as well as my altered jar post. The latter was mentioned last week in a post on the Orange Exchange blog. If anyone has altered a jar that was inspired by my posts, please let me know. I'd love to see. :)

And, to the other fruit half of my post.... ;)
I think I caught a couple readers off guard with the cauliflower in the banana bread. It was pureed after being steamed which eliminated the typical cauliflower texture. Honestly, I couldn't taste it. If you have any picky eaters, I'd recommend this cookbook. So far we haven't had anything that tastes bad and I am picky so that saying a lot.

  1. I really want to try your recipe and I like caulflower so I don´t mind if it taste a bit like it. I really enjoy reading your blog.

  2. Sarah, I'm still curious about why you put the cauliflower in there...what regular ingredient does it replace or is this a recipe strictly for sneaking in veggies, like for kids and for healthier eating in general? Sorry to be so clueless....

  3. I'm going to have to check out that book! Still baffled by the cauliflower!

  4. Ah yes...we have a few picky eaters in our family (myself included) :)

  5. I enjoy reading your reviews of the recipes. I may have to pick up this book, my kids are so picky.

Thanks for leaving a comment! I enjoy reading them all. :)
