It's always interesting to see where blog hits come from. Lately, with Valentine's approaching, my Valentine's Candy Jar post is getting a bit of attention as well as my altered jar post. The latter was mentioned last week in a post on the Orange Exchange blog. If anyone has altered a jar that was inspired by my posts, please let me know. I'd love to see. :)
And, to the other fruit half of my post.... ;)
I think I caught a couple readers off guard with the cauliflower in the banana bread. It was pureed after being steamed which eliminated the typical cauliflower texture. Honestly, I couldn't taste it. If you have any picky eaters, I'd recommend this cookbook. So far we haven't had anything that tastes bad and I am picky so that saying a lot.

ReplyDeleteSarah, I'm still curious about why you put the cauliflower in there...what regular ingredient does it replace or is this a recipe strictly for sneaking in veggies, like for kids and for healthier eating in general? Sorry to be so clueless....
ReplyDeleteI hear ya about the pickiness
