Over the years, my stash of scrapping supplies has grown. This includes lots and lots of stickers and rub-ons. I used to keep them in a single poly 8.5x11 envelope. When it was about the bust at the seams, I found an idea on Two Peas from another member to organize them in a binder using these 99cent poly envelopes from Target:
This has been wonderful for me. The envelopes come in several colors, all translucent. I prefer the clear so I stocked up on several trips. Each holds a category - letters, words, kids, animals, etc. I labeled them using my Dymo label maker.

I tried to do that once but it wasn´t confortable at least for me, but maybe it was me and not the system. Yours look so organized
ReplyDeleteawesome!! :)
ReplyDeletethanks for your comment about my card... I'm excited about crafting again.... I just need to get organized then I won't get overwhelmed with the mere thought of it all.
And as for your comment on my other blog entry, Sarah, I can tell that you genuinely care and are truly sympathetic. There may never be any "right words" but it's all in how they are expressed. I appreciate your efforts and you know what? That means a whole lot more than you'll ever know. :) Thank you. :)
great org idea!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I keep my stickers in different drawers sorted by category.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I might have to try that. I have been working on organizing my scrap space even more. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
ReplyDeleteLoved looking at the photos of your garden too... need to get our stuff in the ground!
Hi, just popped in via blogrush... I think that organising your stash is the key to efficient crafting. I seem to spend hours looking thro' my stuff everytime I sit down at my desk. It seems this idea might work for some items. At the moment I keep most of my stuff in "unmarked" cardboard trays, perhaps this is why I send to waste so much time searching for that one item I know I have somewhere. LOL

Excellent idea. I think I'd have to use up an awfully lot of stickers in order for it to work for me. I went through the "buy every sticker out there" phase a couple of years ago, LOL. I have mine in an extra large accordian file folder divided as best as I can. Works for most of it but the every day kind of stickers just get lost. Think I'll use your idea and do a folder for those.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful car!
ReplyDeleteThat has been my favorite way for storing stickers. I have a binder for alphas, one for reg. stickers and one for sticker quotes (which I use a lot). Haven't seen the envelopes at target though...I'll have to look. I use reg. sheet protectors and odd sized protectors (like for baseball cards, etc) for smaller peices...but they always fall out.
Thanks for the comments! :) The envelopes are in the office supply section of Target. Look around the 3-ring dividers & page protectors. They are Target's "work.org" brand and close with a velcro fastener.
ReplyDeleteGreat organization system!
