Beach Layouts

Since winter clearly isn't ready to leave just yet (we had snow flurries overnight), I decided to share a few beach related layouts I created over the weekend to inspire warm, summery thoughts. :)

Our favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach is the Sea Captain's House. This former bed & breakfast retreat on the ocean was turned into a restaurant nearly 40 years ago. It was recommended to me a couple years ago by a local and now we visit every time we are in the area.

Supplies: miscellaneous teal cardstock & photo corners; American Crafts patterned paper; Making Memories spiral paper & letter stickers; Heidi Swapp chipboard letters; Martha Stewart Crafts sepia pen.

Another pastime we enjoy at the beach, is visiting the arcade for a bit of Skee-Ball. Usually we'll go to a place near the beach house, but last summer during a rainstorm we stopped into the newly added Pavilion Nostalgia Park at Broadway at the Beach. This area of the center features a few of the rides and games from the original Myrtle Beach Pavilion which was demolished in late 2006.

Supplies: miscellaneous black cardstock & chipboard arrow; Bazzill white cardstock; KI Memories patterned paper; Basic Grey patterned paper; Studio G stamp; Die Cuts with a View adhesive backed cardstock; QuicKutz Moxie font; Signo Uniball white pen; black stamp pad.
